Hi,
I want to buy the iPhone 12 Pro Max but I have 2 main concerns with it:
1) The camera bump is REALLY big. According to Apple documents it protrudes 2.79mm which is huge compared to the 1.21mm protrusion in the iPhone 11 Pro Max or even the 1.72mm in the 12 Pro. I never use cases so I’m forced to accept the wobble on the table, but I’m concerned that this will be too much. What’s you take on this?
2) The telephoto lens 2.2/f aperture is a bummer. I’ve seen photos taken in low light, and they look grainy compared to the 12 Pro telephoto images using the 2.0/f aperture. How much does it affect your low light photography? How much does it affect night mode capture duration?

1. The 1cm camera bump height increase is barely noticeable... You won't notice this in every day use. I set my 12PM on the table naked every day...
2. It's not a bummer. This phone shoots fantastic photos for what it is. The iPhone 12 Pro will shoot photos pretty much just as good as the 12PM to the average consumer. Looks like you should be looking into a separate DSLR/ camera if this bugs you. There are a lot of factors as to why the 12PM low light photos looked grainy, but this shouldn't be for every single photo.

1. Don't care, wobble is wobble, not like any of them can sit flat.
2. If you can spot the difference in noise between f/2 and f/2.2, well you're experiencing confirmation bias.
There's basically no difference, they're all garbage compared to my 65mm lens on my actual camera.
