Hello. I bought iPhone 12 Pro Max from Mediamarkt 5 days ago. However, I have OCD. I could not be for sure if just my OCD kicks in or there really is a problem. I feel like my screen is slightly crooked. Can you check as well? If so, what can i do?

Doesn't look crooked to me either. In fact it's pretty much impossible for the screen to be crooked, as there isn't enough clearance in the phone assembly to allow for it to be anything but placed perfectly.

You might be seeing a bulge in your case that is making it appear crooked, but I don't know for sure.

Thanks for all of your kind answers. I have one more question. Is it possible that one side of the screen lower than the other side?

Highly improbable. The screen sits in a channel which makes it easy to set the screen in the chassis of the phone.. Enjoy your new phone and quit looking for problems with it

Sorry I could not understand what you mean
Dont mind me. Your phone is very normal. Your case mustve been making it look “crooked”. I had severe OCD before so i know how you feel. But your phone is normal. Try removing the case and have another look.

Thank you for the information. This OCD… I always look for a problem when i buy a new product. What a disease. Thank you for assuring me though.

Oh man thanks for the answer! You know how it feels. When I bought Airpods Pro, I though the sound was unbalanced (one side is louder). What a damn disease aint it?

Are you telling me you can see a difference of distance from the photos supplied of less than a millimeter? Photos are not a reliable way to assess the display to chassis clearance
From my view yes. The top most photo looks like the bottom sways more to the right.

I wouldnt call it a disease. Its actually useful for some jobs. Normal people cant be as perfect as us.

Your phone is an expensive purchase and it's normal to want it to be absolutely perfect.. The problem is they are mass produced and QC allows for tolerances which some people think should qualify as defects.. Apple makes it easy to return your phone if your concerned with an issue.. Something may not bother one person but another finds it unacceptable..

My OCD is about all the products. I have never seen any reported issues related to crooked screen on iPhone. That's why it is more likely my OCD. Which photo are u talking about? Cause at the top u said your phone is normal.

The photos themselves look kind of misleading. They're not taken perfectly straight on and it looks like there's a slight fish-eye effect.

I think the best solution is to have them look at an Apple Service. I am not sure if they are going to accept if it is really a faulty product. Since there is a 17 days of lockup in my country currently, even if it is faulty, I won't be able to benefit the replacement. Since it is 14 days. I bouth this device 6 days ago.
