Hi,
I have been using a Snakehive leather wallet case with my 12 pro max. I happened to notice that the compass going a bit mad at times. Often 180 degrees wrong, sometimes wildly moving about. I thought it was a problem with the phone but removing the phone from the case returns the compass to a stable, correctly functioning state. The case does have a magnetic clasp to keep the front cover closed And I have put the compass behaviour down to that. However, looking on the internet for a replacement style of case suggests that almost all of them have some form of magnetic closure. I have had magnetic clasps on cases for other Iphones without issues so I’m wondering if it’s a particular Problem with the pro max. Is anyone using a case with a magnetic clasp without affecting the compass?
