iPhone 12 Pro iPhone 12 pro max is always 1 inch more than the iPhone 12 pro in the measurement app

It is a weird problem : iPhone 12 pro max is always 1 inch more than the iPhone 12 pro in the measurement app. Not sure it is a problem but i tried many times, in the measure app, the max shows 1 inch higher than the 12 pro for the height of the same people.

The 12 Pro Max is probably more accurate, since it has a laser based sensor.

The 11 has to depend on the camera input and algorithms to get an approximation.

That may be true, but the OP was comparing the 12 Pro Max to the 12 Pro, which both have LIDAR sensors.
