just upgraded from iPhone 11 Pro max to 12 pro max , I did a backup ( 65gb ) from the 11 as I've always done. I have connected the new phone up to the MacBook and done a restore to the new 12 and it's only doing a 10gb data restore of my iPad Air 2 that I've NEVER backed up ???????

All the photo's on the 12 are from the iPad and not from the 11 pro phone.

I'm not a dumber as ive done this about 20 times before but this is beyond me. I can see a 65gb iOS backup file from 11 pro in HDD via apple icon and also can see 65gb in finder but .... it's putting 10gb on from an iPad !!!

When you did the restore, did you choose the right device's backup?
