Was curious how the LIDAR scanner affects depth data of photos captured in portrait mode. Took this photo with my iPhone 12 Pro Max:
Then switched to the “stage light” mode, and did a screen recording while adjusting the depth slider to create this video:
Pretty amazing! I feel like I might actually find uses for some of the portrait lighting settings in Photos.
