I have been having issues with my iPhone 12 Pro and its sim card. About once every few days the sim card seems to lose contact inside the phone and displays "No SIM"...sometimes pushing on the tray fixes it but other times I have to take the tray out multiple times before it recognizes it.

Could be an issue with the SIM card itself, but wanted to see if anyone else has run into this.

I have on an iPhone 4.

I brought it into an Apple store and the first thing they recommend is restoring the devices firmware, and after I did that and brought it back in they replaced it with no questions.

12promax. Having a newly discovered no sim issue as well. Will be working fine and all of a sudden bam. Hard reset doesn’t work. Have to remove tray re align everything and shove it back together.

I'm experiencing this as well. It first happened not long my iPhone 12 Pro Max had a harder fall. No visible damage. It didn't happen immediately after the fall, but the same day. It could just be a coincidence. I went more than a week after that before it happened again. I'm going to see about replacing the SIM now. I should also note, I'm using the 5G sim that came with the phone.

Bought my iPhone pro max today. Inserted my r15 T-Mobile SIM card which is only month old and working fine in my previous device. From the initial get go, no sim installed error. Rebooted , error comes and go with no sim inserted message. I guess I got a dud.

edit. Trying it after shutting down and reseating sim.

If you are having service issues and your SIM card is over a year old, it’s time to get a new one. A new one usually fixes the issue.
