Hey all,

I currently have an iPhone 12 Pro (not the max). I’m due an upgrade in work but I think they’ll be giving me the iPhone 14 (non Pro / non Plus).

As I have a 12 Pro, is that a good upgrade or downgrade? Specifically the cameras?

Cheers.

Well, you’ll lose the telephoto lens. You’ll gain the “Photonic Engine for incredible detail and color.” Net loss as far as I’m concerned, for camera.

Depends what features you’re interested in as both phones have things the other doesn’t. For me I’d probably day the 14 is an upgrade but some love a telephoto lens. Aluminium is an upgrade over stainless as far as I am concerned as weight is more important in my view on a phone than whether the edges are shiny or not. Some on here go nuts for stainless though.
