12 pro keeps apps preloaded much better than the 11 pro; also a noticeable speed difference. Certain people who claim their 6s has the same performance as the 12 pro are talking nonsense.

Speed difference isn’t that remarkable considering we have peaked at speed for your average consumer. But the RAM management is very nice to see, I’m sure that Apple managed to optimize it better than Android manufacturing.
