Hi all,
I've just placed my new 12 Pro next to my old 7 Plus hoping to see the impressive 800 nits (typical max) of my 12 Pro look impressively brighter than the 625 (typical max) of the 7 Plus. To my surprise the 7 Plus's LCD is significantly and obviously much brighter 😂. I've attached a photo.
My biggest concern though is how warm the white balance is on this screen (please not I have turned off tru-tone and night-mode on both). The 12 Pro is very warm. The image attached is not very accurate at showing the specific colour shift but I would describe the 12 Pro as being very magenta in the whites.
Has anyone else compared their OLED to an LCD?
Best
