Yes, there will still be a notch but hopefully the other sides will have almost no border.

None of this thick garish bezel found on the iPhone 11. Excuses that it’s an LED display, yet the iPhone 11 Pro (OLED) is not much better.

If every other phone manufacturer can accomplish a near zero bezel on an OLED display, so can Apple.

Unfortunately it will almost certainly look exactly the same as the old iPhones. Even the huge notch won’t change.

i have no idea why Apple with all of their engineers and budget is not able to reduce the bezels and the notch even though much smaller companies seem to be able to.

iOS the still the best mobileOS by far but Apple has been lagging behind in hardware design for years.

If you're familiar with Apple, you should realize they don't adopt the latest technologies on day one. Look at 5G for example. We're only getting it this year.

I think it has less to do with ability but rather desire to make the bezels smaller.

Or I should say, they will make them slightly smaller every year and market that as a feature.

Apple has the only phone with evenly sized bezels all around. At least as far as I'm aware of.
If you know about another phone with thinner bezels, please point me to it.

They're only going to decrease bezel sizes if they can do so equally on all 4 sides. If that's not possible then bezel size won't decrease.
Apple wants symmetry.

Bezels are suppose to be slimmer from what leakers are saying
