If you have AppleCare+ and it goes under 80% before 2 years Apple will replace it under warranty. If you don't it's covered for 1 year. It's also possible your country has required Apple to cover for 2 years.. Regardless, Apple won't touch it or acknowledge it's a problem until it meets those requirements..
