Hi

Since all the new iPhone 12 models now used the new X55 modems chip how has signal strength been and any improvement over the Intel modems from last year iPhones ?

I have found there is a night and day difference between the old Intel modems and the new Qualcomm modem. I feel the 12 Pro latches onto signal much more quickly and gets much faster speeds or a more reliable connection in areas with low signal.

Thanks How. About every one else ?

Get one and come back and let us know.

am asking the ones that already has it and get there feedback

Found almost no difference for me from my 11PM with Intel. If I knew nothing I would assume its the same modem.

My old Iphone X would have ZERO reception through ATT in the plant where I work, but the new Iphone 12 has at least 2 bars all the time. So big improvement for me!

I’m hearing no difference between 11pro vs 12pro in reception signal strength. Intel did a good job with 11pro Modems

I didn’t see any difference coming from an iPhone 7 Plus. I get between 1 to 2 bars in my area.

I can't believe people are not seeing huge improvements . I have working data in areas that I have never had before :)

That is 100% fake news ! it's night and day difference especially in fringe areas
I believe you but I got two Co-workers one on Att and another on T-mobile both telling me they still having trouble getting signal in low fringe areas like the basement in there homes etc

I have the 11pro max still on the fence on updating to the 12pro max . I thought i was gonna get better reception with the 12 . If that’s not the case I’m save my money and get a iPad Air instead . Plus battery life is amazing with my 11pro max

Brand new 12 Pro Max and immediately signal strength problems. While on calls people say you’re breaking up. One bar from two AT& T towers 1/2 mile away. Lot of money for crappy service.
