Iphone 12PM icons change with dark wallpaper

in the two screen shots you can see that the two icons on dark wallpaper are lighter then the icons on a wallpaper that is brighter. ive seen this also when using any wallpaper ios wallpapers or ones i downloaded. i also see this on iphone 11PM and my Iphone 12PM. anyone else can reproduce and is it norm? its more noticable on your phone
