Apologies if this has been discussed in this section already, couldn't find a relevant thread.

I'm trying to sort out the very annoying issue with bluetooth connection dropping between my iPhone 13 and Airpods gen 3 headphones during any type of voice call (Phone, Slack, Teams, Whatsapp, Telegram). Batteries fully charged, etc.

Music streaming is ok if we ignore some disconnection and eq changes issues that happen every once in a while.

For ages (a this point my warranty ran out) I thought the problem was my Airpods. See my comments here: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/airpods-unusable-connecting-disconnecting.2368899

Recently I started experiencing this connecting/disconnecting behaviour during voice calls on my motorbike intercom system (Cardo Freecom 2X) and, again music is fine for hours and hours, only voice is impacted.

All other data bluetooth comms from the iPhone seem to work more than fine. The issue is only when calling.

Again, this is making for a very unusable set-up when working and I'm trying to find a solution.

Today I'm taking my old iPhone 7 out of hibernation to try and replicate the problem with the Airpods.

Any suggestion or similar experience is appreciated.

I already did all the resets/software updates/etc. as expected.

thanks!
