Just bought the iphone 13. Seems like I'v barely used it and my battery is already on 60%.
According to settings, I'v been on my phone for 1 hr and 30 mins. Is this percentage normal. if not, what percentage should it be.

About a month-ish ago. I got the 13 and made this exact post. I was worried. Give it a few weeks and you’ll be surprised. I can go a full day of intense usage. I watch non stop YouTube, call of duty, music for hours at a time and still have charge left when I go to bed at night! I promise you’ll enjoy it. I don’t have the pro. Just the basic 13.

thats good to hear. today was the first time i used my phone so I was a bit worried with the battery loss, especially because I had barely used it. Do widgets also affect battery life? I downloaded the widgets app, but then deleted it because I thought it was responsible for the battery loss.

Hi! Was the battery at 100% when you turned it on for the first time? All the new phones i used were at around 70% when i turned them on for the first time.
Then again, you're doing the initial launch - the phone has to sync data, look for updates and install them (and that's battery intensive).
I'd give the phone some time to "learn" your usage patterns and you'll see the difference as @EddieKeyton1 mentioned

I think it was about 60 - 70% when I first turned it on after buying it. After it died, I charged it. It was on 100% and after 1hr and 15 it went down to 60%. I barely used it at all today. Doesn't even feel like its been 1 hour or so. I only used it to text my friend, and checked instagram and snapchat maybe twice. But thats it. So I was a bit worried.

Widgets use more battery, yes. But I’m a few weeks your battery life will be amazing without having to worry about which things use more battery, which settings to disable to save more battery etc etc. just hang in there for a few weeks, and it’ll gradually get better!
