Hi all, I was excited when iPhone 12 Pro came out with LiDAR. I'm not finding any details on iPhone 13 Pro's version. The specs all seem to just casually mention "LiDAR Scanner" which makes me think it's the same hardware that was in the 12 Pro. Anyone know if it's an improved sensor in the 13 Pro? Was interested in 3D scanning in the 12 and that turned out to be a bit of a let-down.

I think we may need to wait until iFixit tears it down. 
I figure its the same hardware too based upon Apple not making a big deal out of it in the announcement. I will say that I am sure it is technically faster since the processor is faster. Speed of the scan should be faster, even if only slightly.
Kinda where my head is too.... They wouldn't miss an opportunity to boast about something that's improved. Verizon pretty much made it a no-brainer to upgrade, so I did anyway, but a gazillion point LiDAR scanner would have been cool. hah!
