Hi, I’ve been using the Apple OEM silicone case, which feels great but annoys me by leaving the gap between the screen and the edge uncovered. I’m growing tired of cleaning the dust out of that. Does anyone know of any cases they can confirm cover that gap? Black silicone preferred, I tried buying one sight unseen on Amazon based on the preview photo but it also didn’t cover the gap. Thanks in advance!

Do you work in a dusty environment? Tbh I haven't had this issue in the 9 months of ownership with this combination.

I have always had a baffling amount of dust accumulate in my pockets, so I'm sure that's the issue. I routinely need to fish the dust out of the lightning port of my phones after about a year and a half of use. I've even taking to lint rolling my pockets before putting the phone in, but alas.

I'm not sure what you mean by the gas between the screen & the edge but I have the Amazon Basics Clear Soft TPU Smartphone Cover for iPhone 13 mini & the lip goes all the way to the screen, which is what I think you were asking about. It isn't silicone though, it's a little harder material

You should have to clean your phone once per month. That’s completely normal. If you don’t like cleaning your phone and want to keep your lightning port clean, pick up an Otterbox as it requires a lot less maintenance. If you have a normal silicone case and neglect to clean your phone, the lint will rub against the sides and strip the paint.

My friend had a disgusting iPhone 13 which had not been cleaned in 1.5 years and the paint around the edges were completely scraped and scratched giving the phone a very poor appearance. I removed all the dirt and unclogged his speakers, etc… but there was only so much that I could do.

Filth.

I was always Apple OEM because no one seemed to make a quality case. I didn’t want something that looked like it was a transformer or the bs you buy from some airport kiosk.

This isn’t cheap but it’s by far the best case I’ve ever seen, period. It’s worth every penny.
