Currently I’m using an iPhone 12 mini and I like it. Last year, people were crazy about how great was the 12 mini. Is it worth upgrading to the 13 Pro?

Honestly, I don’t really like huge phones. Is the 13 Pro really a huge phone? Telling by the images, don’t seem to be really that huge.

However, on the 13 Pro battery life is considered impressive when performing general tasks.

It’s not huge but it’s definitely larger than the mini. It’s basically right in between say an iPhone 6 and 6+ for size. My biggest issue with it is the weight.

I’m probably going with the 13 Pro this time if I had the money due to the stainless steel design and more battery life.

All of the 12 and 13 line are great phones. The 13 Pro isn’t a big phone, it’s just the same size as a regular 13. The Pro Max is a big phone so you may not like that. If the Mini is the perfect size you should probably stick with it. I watch a lot of media content on my Mini and I don’t feel like the screen is too small. It’s the perfect sized phone for instant messenger too in my opinion.

These have been my thoughts recently, with how terrible my 12 mini battery is now that I can travel again (REALLY terrible. 10% at 6pm terrible despite it sitting in my pocket unused most of the day. I’ve never felt battery anxiety like it).

It’s a lot of extra money to pay for the Pro. But maybe 120hz and macro photography are worth £270 for you?

I’m still torn between a Pro Max and a Mini. The battery situation puts me off the Mini, but think I’ll settle on the Mini and a MagSafe Battery Pack; all the features of the 13 with the battery of the Pro Max.

Jumped from 12 Mini to 13 non-pro and then swapped to 13 mini.
Overall, 13 mini holds the charge for 2 hr more than 12 mini did. In the end, I get anything between 6-8 hrs of screen time.
After getting the Iphone 13 i got pretty tired of the size and chunkiness. Pro side: screen is immersive and i did my best photo shots on regular 13.
After swapping to for 13 mini I fell so much satisfaction - it was easy to hold and had much bigger wow factor. But the screen is not as immersive.

In the end, i would rather carry my slim 5000mah Xiaomi powerbank than hold the Max all day. Though both 13 regular and mini had their pros and cons as listed above. Battery life wasn't an issue on 13 mini and regular - regular maybe lived 1-2 hours more than mini did.

If you are happy with the 12 Mini you should get the MagSafe battery pack. I picked it up a month ago and it has totally transformed my behaviour with the Mini. I can now watch videos on Netflix and YouTube, listen to music, browse the internet whenever I want and play games and still have 20-30% capacity spare by the end of the day. Wish I had picked it up sooner!

Haha this is my fear; if I get a Pro, then I’m tied into £1k iPhones for life :/
120hz eye porn, buttery, silky smoothness, scrolling goodness. ??

I was hooked from the first ??

Once you go iPhone + 120hz, you don’t go back.

Went a bit overboard there. ??

Warning you from now, it’ll be hard to go back to 60hz after you’ve experienced 120hz on a iPhone.

Mini 13 is great updste over 13 mini - much better battery life and camera from 12 pro max…

I was able to pick up. 13 mini yesterday really as a back up to my max. This thing is great! Easy to type on, on the 13 pro I made a lot of mistakes on this barely any! The person here was asking $550 barely uses - two weeks and offered her $460, hell of a deal! Very happy with it. Can hardly tell ANY difference between the mini and 13 pro, other than it’s much lighter!!

I have the 13 pro and 12 mini. The pro's battery is phenomenal. Easily lasts me two days for my usage. The screen is beautiful in my opinion. Something about iPhone screens just seems to alluring even though I have a Galaxy Fold 3 with a great screen. The 12 mini however is so light. I don't even feel it in pockets and it's perfect for jogging or cycling. Love it for when I want to travel light. Thinking of trading in my 12 mini for the 13 mini for the better battery, screen brightness and updated camera. Going to buy it and test it out for a week tomorrow.

I have (2) 13 minis (one for work and one personal) and really like them. I can easily make it 15 hours before I get my shortcut warning to charge at 30%. And if I need more battery when I am away from home, I have the Apple battery pack, which fits like a glove on the 13 mini.

If a person is a heavy user and doesn't have access to a charging port during the day etc. I can see going with a larger phone. Otherwise, I think a lot of people are missing out on a great phone with the mini. It isn't made for people who feel compelled (or addicted) to their phone 24 /7 without charging.

I think too many people on here have some false (read: weird) hangup that it is somehow wrong to charge your phone during the day if need be, as many here have stated that they have access but just don't want to. Many seem to prefer the suitcase phone bouncing around in the pocket or purse. If one treats the phone primarily as a phone, and leaves the larger screen content consumption and production to other products in the Apple line that are primarily made for such use, it makes more sense to have a smaller phone that one doesn't have to worry about how it will be carried on his or her person.

I went from a X to the mini.....really torn between the mini and the regular 13 but the mini feels good and easily slips into my pocket. Battery life cannot compare with the bigger phones but that is fine...I have charger cords and batteries.

If I don't like it I will change but so far so good.

13 mini whisks me back to the halcyon days of the late 1990's and early 2000's where cell phones were becoming fabulously advanced and impossibly miniaturized. Makes you fall in love with technology all over again.

My 12 mini battery is now down to 90% and Im definitely noticing the decreased battery life. Not bad though since I got it on Day 1 release. My storage is also reaching close to the 64 GB limit, so im gonna trade it in for a 13 mini in midnight. I just love this form factor too much, I can’t leave it yet.
