Anyone having issues trying to buy apple care for their new phone? Mine keeps saying it’s not eligible.

I would just contact apple support. Had a similar issue with a pair of airpod pros I purchased and they were able to help me out so I could get it purchased.

I will I just wanted to see if it was a common issue. If so I will just wait a day or two. Not using it yet as the case hasn’t turned up and I’m capable of dropping my phone quite inexplicably at times.

Hello ! I have the same problem with my iPhone 13 Pro. It says that my iPhone is not eligible

It takes 24-48 hours for the system to update. Had this issue last year with my 12.

I just checked my account and no AppleCare on my iPhone 13 Pro (Bought unlocked version and opted to pay monthly for AppleCare).

Gonna check again tomorrow morning if not, will call support.

Update: Just checked again in app: General > About > AppleCare

Now shows option to add AppleCare plan

It takes around 12 hours for the option to purchase AC+ in settings to show up.

I picked up my phone 8am local Sydeny Australia time and that option only showed up around 8-9pm.

I’ll give it a full day maybe even two. It’s been over 14 hours and still has not shown up, but I’m not worried about it I can always call Apple and get it straightened out.
