I have a 2018 mac mini, which is still running Mojave due to music software..
This works fine with my 11pro that is still running iOS 13 but
If I get a 13pro I will not be able to back it up to my Mini correct?
Is it possible to wirelessly transfer the data on my 11pro to the new 13 pro?
Thanks!

Not sure about Mojave compatibility, although I'd assume they won't work together. As far as the transfer, Apple now allows temporary free iCloud storage for people just like you who have a new iPhone and need to transfer data without paying for extra storage. However, you'll need to upgrade your current phone to iOS 15.

Hope that helps!

It's iTunes in Mojave that's the deciding factor. Mojave is almost 4 years old and iTunes doesn't know what iOS 15 is.
My guess based on past experience trying to do something like that is it won't work / iTunes won't recognize it.
But there's no harm in trying.
Apl has got it all figured out so that you've got to keep ALL your Apl gear semi current for them to work with each other- that means buying new gear every 4 years or so.

You can transfer data from an older iPhone to a new one without having to use your Mac. Either direct iPhone to iPhone transfer or restoring a backup from iCloud

I have about 200 gigs on my current iPhone so how do you do the direct transfer is it Bluetooth? Thank you

With your old iPhone 11 on and right next to your new iPhone 13, start up the iPhone 13. The setup assistant will guide you through the steps and encourage you to use phone to phone transfer to set up the new phone. It’s the first choice at the top of the list (I just did this yesterday).
I’m not sure how the phones talk to each other - might be Bluetooth or Wi-Fi and maybe both, but they surely can communicate.

I wonder how long 200ISH gigs transfer will take? Kind of a conundrum, wish apple had backward compatibly
between iPhones and OS's.
