I noticed for Apple to have immediately removed the 13 pro post 14/14pro announcements. Where can one still purchase the 13 pro and are there currently subject to discounted prices?

No sim tray = no go.

You can still try the apple store. Just because apple.com does not list the 13 pro anymore for sale, you can go visit the store themselves and see if they still have them in stock. They will sell at a bit of a discount too.

I know best buy and other places do still sell them but some still require activation.

I tried. Sadly, I am not able to locate a 13pro 1TB anywhere. Best Buy does not sell unlocked phones. Apple appears to have transferred inventory to respective carriers (?), but it is true that they discount the previous models by $100.- carriers will not sell an unlocked device, etc, etc. Apple plays funny games wanting you to physically go to a store claiming they have no access to the inventory data base. When I mentioned ADA, the girl got a bit scared and tried to connect me with an Apple store. Apple stores don’t answers calls. All this because Apple decided that Americans don’t travel, hence they don’t need a sim tray. What a joke.
