Hi all,
Like most of the people in the IUP, i couldn't get my order in on pre-order day via the IUP and Apple Card issues.
I even had the get ready for the preorder set up on the Apple Store app.
Late on pre-order day evening, I was able to get one, only to have it cancelled the next day.
I did receive an email from Apple apologizing and letting me know i can now order and they would 'do their best' with shipping.

I placed the order that afternoon (day after pre-order day) and have a shipping date of 10/19-ish.

The Apple email told me to monitor my shipping date - and I have - but it hasn't changed at all.

I am sure others were/are in the same predicament and received the same email.

Have any of you seen the shipping times change since finally placing your order?

Or is there something else I need to do (contact Apple?)

Thanks

I think to say "most people" on IUP couldn't get their orders in on pre-order day is very wrong.

Those that had Apple Card issues simply used a different card and got their orders in within minutes.

Unfortunately you are at the mercy of having placed your order 14 hours late. Apple does have a tendency to deliver early so all you can do is hope for the best.

I tried multiple cards and was not successful which is why it appeared to be a IUP issue
Regardless, I was checking for others who received the apology email from Apple that said they would try to improve the shipping times
I was curious if any of those people have seen changes in their delivery dates since they ordered
