I live in Wisconsin where the temperature goes below 0 degrees celsius. Whenever I go out at night with the lowest brightness, my iPhone screen turns to a green tint. It turns normal when I come back home.

I am on the latest version of IOS (15.1.1) and have Truetone and Auto-brightness turned off. Since I could not see other people having a similar issue, I wanted to know if I am the only one facing this. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

HERE IS MY ORIGINAL REDDIT POST :
EDIT/UPDATE :

So I got some messages from people saying their iPhone 13 also turns green at low temperatures. A person also tried to put 2 iPhone 13 pro's in the refrigerator and both turned to a greenish tint after 1 minute.

The thing is :

  1. If I get my iPhone replaced (which I cannot anymore), then it might have the same issue since it is so common in these. Also, it might have worse screen disuniformity.
  2. If I get my screen replaced, it might still have the green tint issue and I lose my IP rating unnecessarily.
My display rn is perfect except for the fact that it turns to a greenish tint at low temps but when I come back home it goes back to normal.

I think we just have to live with it. This is an issue Apple should surely be made aware of. I had also gone to the apple store to show them this issue.

Here are some more images from other users who spoke to me regarding the green tint (THEY GET THESE AT LOW TEMPERATURES AND IT GOES BACK TO NORMAL AT ROOM TEMP)
