Why does the lens shifting on my 13 pro max present itself in a very obvious way?

It will seemingly focuse then jump to another lense in the viewfinder

My old iphone 8 plus has seamless lens transitions. Why does the new 13 pros not have seamless?

Use the manual mode to take photos, it provides the best photographic images with the manual settings better than the auto mode. Also, the camera shift will never happen in this mode.
