iPhone 13 Pro Max Lidar not accurate, how to calibrate?

Compared to a 12 Pro Max, measurements taken with the 13 are off, constantly 1 to 3 cm more, exceeding the expected 1% margin of error. The 12 was remarkably accurate.

I can't find a way to calibrate, is that an hardware defect?

EDIT: it appears the error is only on the Y axe (height), horizontal measures are very precise.
