I just got my iPone 13 Pro Max and noticed quite fast that compared to my 12 pro Max (which i am trading in) the new phone can not show white on the display. Screen looks anything but white.
I tried turning off True tone, tried the color tint setting but no matter what I try it doesn't get white. Next to the 12 it looks really really bad.

I have tried all tips online and tomorrow I have a Genius bar time set up. For a $1100 phone it needs to have a decent screen.
My 12 is fine, white is white. Never seen this in any previous iPhone I have had.

Is this a common screen issue? Will they replace it, do they even have spare phones in the stores?

It is hit or miss on getting a "good" 13 display just like it was with the like 12 series phones.

iPhone 13 series displays are all over the place. It’s a lottery whether you get a good one. Some are green. Some red. Some both. Some pink, Some yellow. A few look almost white.

So what are my chances they will be able to give me a replacement in store?
