iPhone 13 Pro Max iPhone 13 pro max slow motion video question

When I take a slow motion video at 240 fps it always shows 177 fps or lower in the info for said video. Is this normal?

Slow motion on an iPhone is not like normal slow motion. It’s not a straight 240 FPS capture.

Ok thank you. Another question….when I record slow motion video it’s always choppy and not smooth but when I record it with an old 11 pro max the slow motion video is really smooth. Why is it so bad on the 13 pro max?
