iPhone 13 Pro iPhone 13 pro screen dim at full brightness

Has anyone noticed the screen is a bit dim? Next to my iPhone X the 10 screen actually seems brighter. Even if I turn off True Tone, it still is dark compared with the X.

Yes here I am. My old iPhone 8 is twice as bright

Already tried the reduce white point setting in accessibility and switching off auto brightness to no avail

Will check some other units in stores in the next few days

According to the lux readings the iPhone 13 is brighter:

But in the video the iPhone 13 looks dimmer than the iPhone 12 lol

Maybe it actually is the auto brightness setting in accessibility. Try turning that off but wait one minute. It’s not instant. My maximum brightness changed this way. Will test better tomorrow

I’ve picked up on the fact that when the phone gets really hot…like on macrumors
The phone suddenly goes dim. It either a heat issue or the phone is seriously buggy right now
