iPhone 12 Pro iPhone 13 upgrade cycle

Anyone thought about the fact that if they release the 13 in September it won’t be a full 12 month cycle, so those on the upgrade plan won’t be able to upgrade to the 13 until month two after release…am I thinking about this correctly?

I doubt it. They won’t delay the launch of the people that are on the upgrade programme. Far more people have service provider contracts or buy out right than there are people on the upgrade program. They will just release it and people on the upgrade program will either have to sell their phones and buy out their upgrade contract and renew or just wait for a month

Or they can prepay however many months they have left to reach the 12 and trade in like normal.

Shouldn't be any different than in 2018 when the XS was launched.

The iPhone X was delayed and those of us on the plan could upgrade immediately just fine. One of the payments was less. When the next upgrade rolled around we also could upgrade just fine.

Waiting a few month might not be a bad thing, people can sit back and see if there is any issues with the new models. 🤔
