Hi,
I bought the iPhone 13 when it first came out. At the time, I had a screen time of 7 hours a day. After a while, I had to sell it. Now, in my country, where the iPhone 16 sells for $ 1900, I'm thinking of going back to iOS and buying the iPhone 13 again, which sells for $ 1120. But I'm not sure. How long does it last with 100% charge with the current iOS version. I may not have the screen time I had when I first bought it, I'm not sure. How satisfied are current iPhone 13 users with battery performance? Is it enough for a day? Will it get worse with iOS 18? I know the iPhone 16 is great in everything, except the 60hz screen. Since I'm always looking at the screen, not much will change when I get an iPhone 13. I know it won't give the same performance, but the A15 is powerful enough, right? Is it worth it?

So, How many hours do you use the phone on a full charge?

iPhone 13 Pro Max is at 86%.
I may have expressed it wrong. I'm not asking about battery health. How many hours do you use the phone on a full charge?

My first iPhone 13 was 256gb. Now I'm looking at 128GB. Do you think this is a factor?

Storage size has zero factor.

Worse case look at what Apple Advertised as the battery life on the 13 and figure it will be 80-85% of that.

My wife just upgraded from the 13 Pro and hers was 84% but not sure of hours.

My 13pro is at 85% battery health and goes from 100% charged in the morning to about 40% charged when I go to bed. Hope to keep it a couple more years and will get the battery changed when and if it hits 80%.

My 13 Pro from launch day is at 86% and I can't wait to get a 16 Pro next week so my battery lasts longer; the lower capacity has become very noticeable over the past 6-10 months.

My 13PM is at 88% battery health. Starting from 100% charge in the morning, I usually have between 40 and 60% charge left at bedtime.

Edit: Forgot to mention that I've been using iOS and iPad OS 18 public betas and have no battery issues at all. If anything, I'm getting better battery life than on 17. I plan on keeping my 13PM 2 to 3 more years.

Nope, neither one! Original battery and I bought it in the Summer 2020, which means the phone is 4x years old.But I must say that I charge it once every 2-3 days approx.
You lucked out in the battery lottery. Even with infrequent charging, a 4 year old battery maintaining that health is probably 1 in a million.

My iP13's battery is at 83% battery health. As per graphs from Settings > Battery, I am getting 6H50m avg screen on and 2H27M avg screen off. Battery utilization seems about 90-ish percentage on avg per day (I am basing this from green bars). On days when it is 100%, avg total screen on + off time is close to 11.5-ish hours with on time being at-least 7 hours. From the same section, I am able to figure out that WhatsApp has longest background activity time even with Background App refresh turned off.

My 13PM is at 82% health now. Got it Dec 2021, and use it a ton. Easily 7 hours screen time most days, and a lot of battery intense apps like camera (beastcam recording 4k60 dolby vision at 100 Mbps), Lidar scanning and processing/photogrammetry, GPS recording, and the usual less intensive stuff like ebay, background GPS recording, and messaging.

Even with all that still going strong with all day battery life, even after a busy day of creative use I usually end with 20-30% left. Plug it in for 10min and back to 50%+ for a couple more hours. Truly gold standard of battery life and can't go back to anything shorter now.

Still paying the $10/mo for applecare just in case. Will definitely be using it to get the battery replaced when it hits 80%. Maybe just a waste of money at this point but I know as soon as I cancel it my clumsy self is going to drop it and break the screen or something expensive haha. Thankfully just one little scratch at the bottom from having an open bottom case (PolarPro LiteChaser).
