iPhone 14. After updating to iOS 16.4 I can’t turn off my iPhone.

After updating my iPhone 14 to iPhone to ios 16.4, I’ve ran in in to two issues.

1. I can’t turn off or restart my iPhone. I pressed the power button several times and held it for over a minute. Nothing happens.

Only thing that works is;

1. Press and quickly release the volume up button.
2. Press and quickly release the volume down button.
3. Press and hold the side button.

2. Search function in Apple Music doesn’t work. No matter what I type, it doesnt find anything.

Search function in Apple Music works on my iPad that’s running iOS 16.4, same Apple ID.

I have not been able to turn off the iPhone with the side button since iPhone X 🤔 hasn’t it been replaced by Siri or ApplePay on no home button devices? I always have to go to settings > general > shut off to turn it off

Simultaneous press of a volume button and side/power button is power off for Face ID phones.

Turn iPhone on or off

Use the side button to turn iPhone on. Use the buttons or Settings to turn iPhone off.

Still works for me on 16.4.

Don’t use Apple Music, so can't comment about that.
