iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max are set to launch in over 20 additional countries and territories on September 23, including Malaysia, Turkey, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, and others. Apple has not provided a complete list of the countries.

In Mexico, pre-orders for the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max will begin on September 23 and the devices will launch September 30.

In some of the countries, including Malaysia and Turkey, the iPhone 14 Plus will be available starting October 7. This is the same date that the device launches in the United States and more than 40 other countries and territories.

September 23 is the same day that the Apple Watch Ultra and second-generation AirPods Pro will launch in the United States and many other countries.

iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus have improved cameras, longer battery life, more repairable designs, and more, while the Pro models exclusively feature the Dynamic Island, the ability to shoot 48-megapixel ProRAW photos, an optional always-on display, and a faster A16 Bionic chip. The entire iPhone 14 lineup features a new car crash detection feature, while emergency texting via satellite launches in the U.S. and Canada in November.

Last year, this tier-2 country list was half as long. No wonder grandmas and students in Hong Kong are making US$350 per unit by selling Pro/Max to scalpers.

For anybody unfamiliar with the situation, HK limits customers to two units per person and no walk-in purchases for the first few weeks. Every year at launch, people buy a couple units and sell them to scaplers in malls who ship these units to tier-2 countries in Europe, Middle East, and this year, Russia. Usually, you make only $50 or $100 per unit. But this year has been the biggest windfall since iPhone 6.

I wonder if demand in those other countries will mirror demand trends we're seeing now where buyers prefer the Pro models over the non-Pro models.

Does Apple have a schedule on their website on which country gets it when?
I'm waiting for the 14 to launch here in Indonesia (to see how much the 13 mini price will drop). My guesstimate is in December, but I'm wondering if there's actually official schedule from Apple (like those countries listed in the article).

Most will just be window shopping it in those countries. Sorry to say it, but I think saving over a thousand dollars for many is more important than posting slightly better image on the gram.

Idiot Question: I know the 14 has launched in the US, but are there 14s available in the US right now?

Or will it be a month before supply catches up with demand?

Maybe they should postpone this until they get all the existing broken phones replaced.
Yea right in

Mr.D , hit the nail on the head. I really think the biggest break for apple will be the iPhone SE 3. An iPhone Xs will a smaller notch.

I'm guessing that phones sold in those foreign countries that do not have ready access to eSim carriers, will have an eSim tray. I live in the US, but also live for 6 months a year in a country where no carrier offers eSims. I'm assuming that iphones sold in that foreign country will have an eSim tray. But, iphones in that country carry about a 30% premium over the price in the US, but unless some carriers in that foreign country start offering eSims, I either won't be able to update my phone or will be forced to pay the premium and buy a new phone in the foreign country at a steep premium. Not a good choice.

Canadian iphone 14 and 14P/PM have simcard trays.
