Kids.
Have a used 14 from a friend which I have been saving until my kiddos 13 mini died--last Thursday was the day. The 14 has a small ding at the lower right side at the bezel. There are two hairline cracks, neither reaching another edge of the screen. The phone works fine EXCEPT for the front facing camera. When you got to switch from back to front, it takes up to 10 seconds for it to unblur. Sometimes it requires going back and forth a few times before it works. According to my tween daughter, this renders the phone "broken and useless." Sigh.
Is it possible the crack is impacting the camera functionality? Should I spend the $125 to replace the screen and hope that fixes the problem? Hate to spend that kind of money then end up having to buy another anyway. Thanks
Edit: apparently the camera functionality via Snapchat works fine, it's only the built-in that is buggy.
