iPhone 14 main camera replacement - can I take a used unit and retain full functionality?

Dear All:

I might need to replace the back main camera unit on my iPhone 14 Pro and I am wondering if I can flip it for a used unit. Apple offer the calibration assistant but I am not sure if that can only be used with literally NEW camera unit?
