Just curious to know how many of you have a new iPhone with a blue shift or tint to the screen when viewed off angle. I've had to replace the iPhone 14 Pro I got four different times due to this issue. I know it's an inherent aspect in the production of OLED displays but it varies unit to unit. Of the four units I've had three of them had a very noticeable blue shift when viewed at the slightest off angle. Sometimes, depending on the angle, the upper or lower half of the screen would be blue while the other half appeared fine. Just wondering if I'm being extremely picky and you guys don't notice much of an issue. I know finding a perfect display isn't likely but I find this degree of blue shift to be unbearable especially when spending this much money for this phone.

Since you asked, I suspect you're being too picky. I can't think of many times I view my phone off angle.
You sure it's his problem, not Apple's? My 13 Pro doesn't suffer from this. Why should anyone be ok that a premium priced phone does this?

You're not too picky.

No I'm not sure. That's why I said "suspect". But all display technologies have pros and cons. There is no perfect display. But to see this on four phones makes me think this might be inherent in the display.

My 12 is pretty awful. Dead on it‘s yellow. A slight tilt is blue. Then turning it further is yellow again. I use dark mode to hide it, and I don’t particularly like dark mode.

How do you exchange it that many times ? Are you buying a new one then returning yours ? I returned and purchased a new one due to a camera issue . The new one my eyes have a hard time focusing on . Had the wife use it for a little bit and did the same thing to her . My 12 pro had no issues . Now I’m debating on trying to buy another and return this one but I feel a little crazy doing that lol.

Yeah I just buy a new one and return the other. I too feel a little crazy doing it but I justify it to myself considering how much it costs and how long I plan on keeping it. If you aren't satisfied with the one you have now I would get another one.

Off axis blue color shift is normal for an OLED screen.
This "concern" has been brought up here quite a few times.
Each display has it's own inherent artifacts. (Eg. Mini LED's is "blooming").

There is a noticeable green tint when viewing off-axis on the 14 Pro Max that definitely isn't present on the 13 Pro Max. It's not too bothersome but it's definitely noticeable even when you're not looking for it. I wonder why.
