I left my iphone14 Pro connected overnight to magcharger for only the second time and with Apple 20W adapter, and woke up this morning to a bricked phone. Phone was cool to touch. Use suggested method of pressing volume up, then volume down and holding side button for a long time and finally after third try (seems like you have to hold the side power button down for a looong time), phone came back to life.
Battery life indicated 100 percent charge so it appears the bricking occurred at the end or sometime after the charge cycle completion.

Anyhow my first ever bricked iphone and it's made me nervous. With just the second night of using magcharger, could that be possibly being the cause? I'm reading about other iphone14s bricking, I'm wondering if this new model is more susceptible than previous models? I have IOS 16.02 installed and I see 16.03 is now available so I will install that tonight but now I'm very nervous!
