It became a habit for me to pair each phone I purchase with the apple leather case; in the past, I was able to achieve a wonderful patina on my cases, and the leather lasted and was durable for the most part.

The iPhone 14 Pro leather case, on the other hand, is just… different, less durable, and appears to be quite weak in comparison to previous generations.

For context, I placed my iPhone in a security tray at the airport a few days ago, I saw the tray glide around the conveyor belt, and a few objects in the tray, including my iPhone, moved around. When I picked up my belongings, I instantly saw the damage to my iPhone cover.

Is there anyone who knows how to fix or at least decrease abrasions on a leather case?

Please also suggest higher-quality leather cases in the event I replace it, I am also contemplating the silicon option.
