iPhone 14 Pro Macro Mode Continuously Changing?

I seem to be having an issue with macro mode in the camera app. I'm not sure if this is tied to iOS 16.3.1.

Essentially, I sometimes have issues taking any close-ish photos to objects because the camera app continuously switches in and out of macro mode. I can't seem to stop it with any setting changes.

Anyone else seeing this?

My wife had the same thing yesterday. I did a hard reset and the problem was gone.
- Volume up, volume down, then keep the power button pressed till the apple logo appears and then disappears and
then let the power button go. You can power on your phone again and voila problem solved. (hopefully 😉)
