Other iPhone 14 Pro Max - 2 phones same number?

Did anyone order 2 iPhone 14 Pro Max in different colors for themselves and intend on keeping both phones? With eSim is it possible to use the same cell phone number on 2 different phones?

I bought a 14 Pro Max Space Black 1TB but I’m considering also buying a 14 Pro Max Deep Purple 1TB as well and want the ability to interchange the use of both phones. Is this possible?

SIM is unique so no you can’t use the same number on two devices

Thank you. I did read that you can move the number from one phone to another but like you said, you can’t have 2 phones associated to 1 number simultaneously.
