So I just experienced this restart or crash thing whatever it is for the 6th time on my iPhone 14 Pro Max since iOS 18, I’m currently on iOS 18.0.1 and it is still happening, it certainly doesn’t impact what I was doing on my phone like I was playing music thru my AirPods Pro 2 and I had different apps open and none like restarted or the music stopped playing or anything like that no no no it just this thing happens all of sudden out of nowhere then after it goes away after like 5 seconds it brings me back to locked screen I put passcode in and I’m good to go continue where I was it’s definitely concerning tho I hope it gets fixed on iOS 18.1 as they said that for the iPhone 16 this update will fix it hopefully fixed it for other iPhone models including myself cause this definitely isn’t a issue just for the iPhone 16 models. Also the screenshot I provided it’s exactly how it looks when this restart thing is happening althought I got it from google images.

I have the 14PM and have been on 18.0.1 and haven't seen crash in ages - I literally can't recall the last time I saw one.

Sounds like only the springboard/dock is restarting, not the whole phone.
Maybe a rogue app running wild or a bug in the dock, so wait for an update of the rogue app or iOS.
