Mine iPhone 14Pro Max is running very hot while charging & use at the same time. Even without charging, just browsing the webpage, the phone itself will feel warm.

Is this normal?

Did you restore from a back up? The phone is probably still indexing and will run hot or warm while its sorting everything out.

If it’s charging from a very low percentage it’s normal. Max current! Background processing also takes a toll old to new phone.

It’s a iPhone, it’s “normal”. I hate the thermals on these things. It’s been a problem for years now.

Came here and searched for a thread like this. Have the 14 Pro (not Max). It's going through the setup and its quite hot. I was really surprised when I picked it up.

Thanks for those who responded!

I’ve also noticed my iPhone 14 Pro Max getting hot while watching videos. I have the leather case on it so perhaps it isn’t getting enough airflow, but still, it shouldn’t be getting noticeably hot while perusing the internet.

This is normal even my s22 ultra does it and 13PM
That's not a claim you can make without knowing the temp and pattern of over-heating. You essentially saying it's impossible for a phone to have over-heating issues due to a hardware or software fault.
