in all seriousness, yes the iPhone 14 Pro camera has field curvature, which manifest heavy when close to minimum focus distance. It doesn't have good transitions or bokeh quality at all because of the wacky insane computer permitted highly, highly super aspherical elements, as every single element, it's entirely optimized for sharpness at infinity, nothing else.

And also the color and over sharpening suck as much ever.

Did you have the vibrating camera problem and damaged the camera? Another person on here made a thread about this and he attributed it to the vibrating bug. I didn't have the vibrating bug and my camera does not have this AF issue.

Nope. It's fine if it makes you feel better as misery loves company.

But it's probably more practical to try someone else's Pro 14 or go to a store. Most definitely do not have the same issue. Insisting that they do would not help you.

Can’t tell the difference between any of them and an iPhone 4S camera either for that matter

it's not an "issue" because it's a desired effect on high end cameras, please stop being so ignorant.

I have used my 14PM camera a good bit and am very happy with my camera’s focusing.
