Look at that terrible AF, the entire left side is blurry! My iPhone X never had this problem!

****! looks like it's even worse. Come to think of it, you shouldn't get a Leica for AF so really I should be using that other one in the back
The Sony A1, now this is truly the king of AF, let's give it a go

what do I do guys? should I go file a class action lawsuit against Apple, Leica and Sony for their terrible cameras? Seeking advice!

in all seriousness, yes the iPhone 14 Pro camera has field curvature, which manifest heavy when close to minimum focus distance. It doesn't have good transitions or bokeh quality at all because of the wacky insane computer permitted highly, highly super aspherical elements, as every single element, it's entirely optimized for sharpness at infinity, nothing else.

And also the color and over sharpening suck as much ever.

but please for the love of ****

laws of physics aren't "issues"!

sigh....
this isn't an issue
and yes you do have it
Nope. It's fine if it makes you feel better as misery loves company.

But it's probably more practical to try someone else's Pro 14 or go to a store. Most definitely do not have the same issue. Insisting that they do would not help you.

Can’t tell the difference between any of them and an iPhone 4S camera either for that matter

you've no idea how cameras work or what causes this phenomena.
it's not an "issue" because it's a desired effect on high end cameras, please stop being so ignorant.
