I set up my iPhone as blank to do the 16.0.1 update before restoring my saved data from my 15 MBP.

Once it did the restore from backup, everything is here, but I can’t swipe up from the bottom to go back to the Home Screen. No case or anything.

That gesture works in landscape mode, but not in the typical portrait mode. Luckily I had an old accessibility short cut to tap side button 3 times to enable the virtual home button. I’ve tried everything short of restoring the iPhone and starting over.

And yes, that swipe up gesture works just fine when unlocking the iPhone from Lock Screen.

I’ve had every single iPhone from day 1 and have never had this issue.

Is there some setting that I’m missing?
Please help.
