There is this video (link below) which i find kind of strange. Isnt it kind of misleading? I totally noticed the differences between older 12mpx iphones and the 48mpx sensors in iphone 14 pros and newer (especially in proraw), what do you guys think?

plus now i see, that he made the exact same video last year about the 15s (but he had it in his hands at least, not like this years video)

this guy used to be pretty legit couple years ago, I haven't watched any of his video for a few years I guess the money from a million subs get to everyone. This is mostly a click bait video with next to no useful information.

  • 3x lens beats 1x lens with crop, duh?
  • 48mp phone camera can't beat 48mb full frame sensor, duh? obviously? Apple never claimed otherwise?
  • guy is just wrong, while 48mb quad-bayer is not as good as normal 48mp, it's still significantly better than 12mp. From my own testing, in good lighting conidition 48mp iPhone ProRaw is about as good as 24MP traditional camera.
  • iPhone has terrible oversharpening in normal HEIC photos, yea duh, that's been a thing for like 3 or 4 years?
  • the 2x "lens" is a crop duh? they say that several times just in this year's keynote, who lied exactly?
classic sensationalist BS crafted to cater to the phone-hating photography enthusiast audience, those guys absolutely hate any news of phone photography improvement because deep down they are just elitist and want to feel like they're better than people shooting with phones.

i also noticed the obvious bias, holding apple accountable for promoting 48mpx camera but not samsung and their 200mpx or google because it bring less clicks, sad
