Not saying the X70 won’t be faster, but I suspect these numbers are likely misleading. Most of the testers trusted with a pre-production iPhone aren’t likely to be under the same network conditions (e.g. close to Cupertino) as regular consumers using iPhone 14.

I still wish that Apple would have delayed the launch by a couple of months so we could have had the X75 modem and Wifi 7 :) The embargo lifts wed so it will be nice to get some real world speed results from the tech reviewers.

Unfortunately this really means nothing. Test conditions and/or perfect network conditions. Not everyday real life. I'm still living in an area that barely gets LTE. Go 6 blocks and there's 5G UW. Go figure.

They need something for the 16.

anyone seeing faster data speeds ?
My 5G speeds on ATT in NoVA went from 12MB to 80MB download speeds, and LTE increased a bit. On my 13 mini I had to keep it in LTE mode b/c the 5G was horrid in my condo. So the new modem is doing its part for me, which is an added plus on my new 15 Pro.

I really wish I would have tested my 14 Pro more recently before trading it in.

Just got speeds I've NEVER seen before. Even Wifi in my own home to my phone. (gonna get a 6E router soon and see how that does with the15 PM and M2 Max MBP...) Too bad this is not the speeds at my house where there are no cell towers...

But whatever mmWave 5G+++ LTE mega 3000. I'll take it.
