I found some “scratches” on the ultra wide lens (but only when is smudged with fingerprints, when is wiped with cloth is perfect). I’m not in position to return it, and really dont want to go through repair proces. The pictures are all fine. Is the some solution for this?

That’s just bad luck that you’ve managed to scratch the lens.

It’s a rare occurrence… at least it doesn’t affect your photographs so it’s not a big deal.

I use a lens protector on my regular 13 which also doesn’t affect the quality of the photographs.

I would remove the lens cover. The lens cover is made with subpar glass that can wreck your photos.

I had mine on as soon as I got my 13 pro max and never noticed anything. I got annoyed one time and removed the cover since the fingerprints are sticking on it and I have to constantly keep cleaning it. Once the cover is removed, the photos look a lot better.

I don’t think it makes any difference at all. I have just taken this quick snap using my regular 13 with the lens protector on and the photographic clarity is pretty much perfect. If there’s a difference with it off, I don’t think it would be noticeable.
