Just received an express replacement from Apple for my iPhone 15 PM and had to install iOS 26.1. I then restored from an iCloud backup. Fast forward a few weeks, I’ve noticed my phone randomly reboots (screen goes black with the silver wheel turning for maybe 3-4 seconds) after I unlock my phone. It’s happened 4-5 times since I’ve received the replacement. Is this a software issue or hardware issue? TIA

It's a take into an Apple Store issue.

Nearest one is 3 hours away. No Thanks
My suggestion wasn't to necessarily take it to a physical store, but rather, that it needs to be communicated to Apple. You effectively have been given a 'new' phone, that doesn't work.

Apple can run a remote diagnostic. If it shows a hardware issue then, well, you have your answer.

If it doesn't, you have software troubleshooting to do, which can take any number of forms. First is eliminate any VPN or profiles (completely delete them, not just "Turn off".)

At the extreme end, do a full erase & set up manually from there.

Ok, I may have to let them do that. I was hoping to not have it happen again until today it did. Was also hopeful iOS 26.2 would’ve fixed it. Apparently not. Can’t tell if it hardware or software related. Strange either way
