I have an iPhone 15 pro max with eSIM running fully updated iOS 17.01.

when I attempt to dial a number the number simply emits a long tone and doesn’t register.

if I restart the phone it will work for a couple of calls but then refuses to dial.

I reset my network settings. It worked for a couple of calls and now nothing.

siri is also not working. It registers the request then times out.

the cellular internet connection works. quite fast speeds. Tested it.

any ideas?

I'm having the exact same issue. I started to notice the issue when I upgraded to ios 17 on my iphone 12. I have made several trips to the apple store and spoke with apple support several times with no success. Ultimately I upgraded to iphone 15 pro (thinking it might have been a weird bug with the new ios and my phone), however after the upgrade the same issue is still persistent (phone dial pad freezing and siri not responding)
