iPhone 15 pro max - no sound on alarms and a few other apps

Hey all! Got myself and wife an iPhone 15 pro max and so far mine has been great but my wife had issues on her 13 pro max and not 15 pro max where alarms don’t work and some other apps have issues where there is no sound whatsoever.

Anyone encounter this and have a fix?
